Who We Are

Bening Communication’s history began in 2002 as a strategic division of Agrakom PR that handled clients with specific purposes

Bening is currently supported by around 20 PR consultants, media analyst and relation, copy writer, creative & IT, media monitoring team and support staff.

What We Do

Triggered by the increased needs for more high-level communications supports from clients and partners, Bening was established as an independent business entity in March 2008, with the split was formalized on 1 January 2011.

Led by a communications professional that has a strong media relations background and multi-year experience in the communications consultancy, Bening is poised to help clients build a strong visibility and boost/maintain their brand values anywhere in the Indonesia’s fast growing market.

Didin co-founded Bening Communication on 1 March 2008. Prior running Bening Communication, he was Strategy Director for several local and multinational PR agency, not only led the team but also worked closely with consumer practice division to give a strong consumer approach in tech consultancy.

With more than 10 years of experience architecting PR strategic and its industry, Didin is not only a trusted client adviser but also played a major role in developing strategies and recommendations for tech clients. His experience has seen him work locally and globally with Fortune 500 brands including Lenovo, ASUS, DELL, Apple, Intel, LG Mobile, AMD, Oracle, and non-tech clients such as Qatar Airways, Johnson&Johnson (Acuvue), Cathay Pacific, Isuzu, and BMW.

He also has deep experience across industry sectors, including: pharmaceutical (Jakarta Eyes Center, Century 21), travel industry, financial services (Indonesia Trading), retail, hospitality, and has worked with some of the world’s most recognized brands, such as: BSA, CTI (distributor for Oracle database, Red Hat, Fortinet, DoubleTake, Riverbed, IBM Z-Series), MLW Telecom, Citrix, Tegic, 3Com, Hitachi Data Systems, Motorola Networks, Motorola (mobile & two-way radio), Compaq, O2, Intentia, SmartTrust, Mobile-8, New Skies Satellites, InFocus, Lucent Technologies, DuPont and IITELMIT.

With full blue chip tech company portfolio in hand, Didin not only known for his expertise in IT and technology issue but also excellent contact with the media and in-depth understanding of various aspects of tech and non-tech PR. He also had firsthand experience and knowledge in handling media centers.

Sharing company relentless commitment to client success, Didin helps clients focus on bridging communication between clients and media, including help them to develop, grow, and strengthen their PR strategy, including help them to maintains market leadership in terms of loyalty, CSR and CRM innovation, technique and approach.

Under his leadership, Bening Communication awarded as Best PR Agency of The Year 2015 from MIX and SWA Media.

Didin has a Bachelor Degree in Nuclear Reactor Technology from Gadjah Mada University Indonesia, and Post-Graduate for Political Communication in Jayabaya University.

In addition, he spent many years as co-owner and Strategy Director of Omni Sains, one of leading media monitoring and consumer research agency in Indonesia.
